Go Green Energy Conference – June 26, 2009 – Roscoe Bartlett
Rep. Roscoe Bartlett hosted a Go Green Energy conference in conjunction with The e-ventplex at the Frederick Fairgrounds, Frederick County Office of Economic Development and the Frederick City Department of Economic Development, Washington County Economic Development Commission, and the Carroll County Department of Economic Development on June 30, 2009 in Frederick, Maryland. More than a thousand people attended to take advantage of more than 100 exhibitors who provided homeowners, farmers and small business owners with practical ways to savesave money, use less energy and go green on any size budget. Rep. Bartlett helped kick off the free community service event as one of the key note speakers in five minutes of remarks. He also introduced another keynote speaker, Malcolm Woolf, Director of the Maryland Energy Administration (MEA).
