Attempting to find 100 ways to save money and help the environment?

I am researching to write an article for my eco website http://www.buyeco.com.au. I would like to find 100 easy ways for people to save money and help the environment at the same time.

Any assistance with ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Try either of these two lists my favorite is the second one. Each of them has 100 or more ways.

    Here are a few out of the box ones.

    1. Start a worm farm. Worms will turn garbage into natural fertilizer.
    2. Plant a suitable fruit tree for your area and plant it so the shade will cool your home, cutting down the A/C cost.
    3. If you have a large enclosed yard, raise a hen. She will eat all the bugs in your yard, fertilize it, and give you eggs every day.
    4. Install a thermosiphon hot water heater. It requires no pump and no electricity to make all your hot water.
    5. Install photovoltaic panels to make your own electricity. Make sure you area has net metering, so your meter will run backwards reducing your electric bill.
    6. Install a wind generator that will work even at night and further reducing your electric bill.
